About Me:
My name is Julie. I have had a love for animals since I was a child. I would often “rescue” the little bird with the hurt wing or the mouse that my cat had caught or bring home the stray dog that followed me from school (they always seemed to find me).
After a working in the corporate world for over twenty-five years as an executive assistant and human resource assistant, I decided that I was really not happy being stuck for eight hours a day at a desk. I wanted to do something that I enjoyed, and that has always been being around animals, especially dogs. I have been pet sitting part time for over twenty-eight years and finally made the jump to full time.
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
― Confucius
I am a certified professional groomer (though not practicing any longer), and I have worked at Massachusetts Veterinary Hospital in Woburn. I have trained four of my dogs as CGC (Canine Good Citizens) and have had them involved in obedience, agility and scent games. I'm also trained in pet first aid/cpr and I am a member of the MSPCA.
My pack consists of two Pomeranians, a Rocky Mountain Horse, six chickens, and some Nubian goats that I foster.
I understand the bond between a human and a dog and I will treat your pet as if it were my own. I have been around animals all my life and truly enjoy their company.
